    Introducing Corrapol®-BT Pent Roof Flashing

We are pleased to introduce another innovation for the corrugated sheet market: the world’s first Pent Roof Flashing.

Corrapol® is renowned for its range of patented game-changing flashings and accessories, and this Corrapol® Pent Flashing is no different.

With several unique elements and design choices, the Pent Flashing has been created for maximum durability and high-quality aesthetics.

Why is a Pent Flashing needed?

After only apex structures in popularity, Pent roofs are the most common roof type on many garden buildings, such as garden sheds and summer houses.

A pent roof, however, suffers from having a particularly vulnerable area on the front edge. This top end of the corrugated sheets on the roof is very exposed to the weather, which makes it prone to damage from wind uplift and driving rainwater leakage.

Traditionally, there is no way to protect this weak point other than with inadequate metal angle flashings, which are rarely used.

The pent roof flashing is designed to eliminate all these challenges.

    Suitable for all Corrapol® Sheets

The majority of pent roofs are found on sheds so the Pent Flashing has the greatest use with our Awnapol® and Corrapol®-BT bitumen sheets.

However, it is also compatible with all our high-profile corrugated plastic ranges, including:

    - Corrapol Stormproof

    - Corrapol PVC

    - Corrapol GRP

It is only suitable for Clear Ambers profile of sheets; however, it can be used with any of the corrugated materials we manufacture.

Alongside pent roofs, the Pent Flashing can also be used on single-pitch freestanding roofs, making it ideal for patio covers and canopies.

    Innovative Profile for Weather Protection

Although simple in basic form, the Pent Roof Flashing has been designed by our R&D Teams to provide optimum weather protection without looking overly bulky.

The clean 90 degree angle ensures a tight finish against the front edge of the roof with ease. This tight finish is important in reducing wind uplift risks.

A 100mm flashing depth provides great cover over the exposed corrugated sheet ends to effectively shield them from the wind and weather.

    Manufactured from Aluminium

The lifespan of roof flashings is critical, so we manufacture all our Pent and Rock N Lock® flashings from high-quality aluminium.

This provides a long-lasting finish for many years with little maintenance requirements.

    Designed with a Unique Gasket

A key feature of the new Pent Flashing is its innovative foam gasket which seals onto the surface of the corrugated sheeting. This creates a weatherproof seal, unlike flat flashing options which leave the corrugations woefully exposed.

What’s more, during the installation process the foam is compressed down to create firm pressure onto the sheet and downwards to the timber below for a secure fix.

    Easy Installation on Pent Roofs

Fitting the Pent Flashing couldn’t be easy with its straightforward screw guide running along the top to show where to position the fixings. This fixing from the top ensures great resistance against wind gusts and weather.

For simplicity, the Corrapol Pent Flashing will come with screw fixings provided to suit, with a matching flexi cap.

    Manufactured in all Corrapol® colours

As with all our Rock N Lock® flashings, the Pent Flashing comes in all the colours required to match our Corrapol®, Corramet and Corrapol-BT ranges. This includes black, brown, green, mill, red and white.

The mill and white options are best suited to our clear corrugated roofing sheets range. And the other four colours match our Corrapol-BT Bitumen Roof Sheets range.
