Since the launch of ALUKAP®-SS two years ago we are manufacturing an increasing volume of self-supporting glazing bars to match the continuously increasing demand from the rising sales from our Distributors. Along with the fact that the Alukap-SS glazing bar system is high quality fully aluminium and can span up to a 5m to 6m unsupported span, Distributors are saying that one of the driving benefits of the system is its ability to glaze any thickness of glass, multiwall polycarbonate or solid polycarbonate glazing sheets. From 6mm AXGARD®, to 35mm AXIOME®, and from 6.4mm laminated glass to 24mm glass sealed units, ALUKAP®-SS meets the needs of entire glazing market.
Looking at some of the larger installations over the past few months of the ALUKAP®-SS self-support glazing bars, there have been a huge variety of applications from Railway station roofs to residential decking covers. Distributor sales of ALUKAP®-SS have quadrupled again this year and we have increased our manufacturing capacity to meet the needs of the growing markets in all sectors.
